Ventilation design

Ventilation design with justified air change, heat recovery and real space for the systems.

Air change is set by room function, occupancy and loads rather than a single multiplier. That avoids oversized units as well as rooms that never get enough air.

In parallel we plan duct geometry in the model: levels, shafts and maintenance access, so ventilation is built on site without redesign.

Scope of work

  • Airflow calculations per room and system
  • Unit selection with heat recovery and SFP assessment
  • Duct networks, pressure drops and control devices
  • Noise attenuation and acoustic assessment
  • Coordination of smoke extraction and fire safety solutions
  • Airflow regulation and commissioning data

Where we work

We deliver ventilation projects across Latvia — from offices and schools in Riga to production and sports facilities in the regions. Existing systems are surveyed on site before refurbishment design.

Frequently asked questions

What air change do classrooms and offices need?
We base it on occupancy and a target CO₂ level. In practice mechanical supply with heat recovery and room-level control is required.
Can you assess an existing ventilation system?
Yes. We measure airflows and air quality, compare them with the design intent and report recommendations with cost estimates.
Is noise addressed in the design?
Yes, acoustic assessment and attenuator selection are part of the design, especially for residential and healthcare spaces.

Send the building data and your timeline — we will scope the work and the schedule.
